In the game, players choose to represent either the Alliance or the Horde. The forces of good represented by the Horde include night elves, , dwarves, draenei and humans. The Horde battles the dark forces that include the tauren, orcs, blood elves, trolls and the undead. Members of the same race have similar physical characteristics but the individual variations dreamed up by the creators make for a number of different costume options.
Some characters have been reproduced in officially licensed latex masks and additional prosthetic pieces, like pointed ears, can also make your transformation complete. The bright green orc mask has massive protruding bottom fangs, a lopped off ponytail and big pointed ears. The tauren sports a large ring through the nose, horns that stick out from the temples and a trio of beaded braids.
To save money on an expensive mask, body makeup is an affordable alternative. Whether you are interested in a bright green like the orc or the blue skin of the troll, grease paints can be purchased at any costume or theatrical supply shop. Another option is to color some water with several drops of food coloring to produce a colored liquid that can be sprayed on the skin.

Many of the characters in World of Warcraft have straight hair that is all one length. Wigs are available in a wide variety of colors and lengths or inexpensive hair dye may be used instead. The dye can take a few days to wash out in some cases, so if your hair absolutely must be restored to its original color immediately, use with care. It is possible to use hair gel or glue to spike or mold the hair in any shape you want.
A unique costume can be fashioned by mixing and matching various fantasy outfit pieces. The best choices are textile fabrics in bright colors and dyed leather pieces. A coat of acrylic paint may be used to make rubber or plastic pieces match the rest of your outfit.
For warlocks and priests, find a simple satin robe in a solid color. Now embellish the robe with swatches of brightly colored fabric. Metallic or jeweled trim can be sewn or glued around the cuffs, hem and neckline.
All it takes is a few basic pieces and little bit of imagination to come up with the perfect warcraft costume for your next party.
